Am I crazy?!?! MiniVent / Super excited / emotion overload!

Ok mini panic attack...

I really wanted to do Cinderellas Royal Table w/ DFI this Oct. Like a fool I kept forgetting to make ressies

Well, I called today and of course...absolutely nada for any time any day of the 2 week span we are there

So I called back and figured I would try for a bigger table as the rep I spoke to said they had nothing for a table of 2

When I got her on the line I had her run it for a party of 4....still nada

So I figured what the hay...run it for our entire party of 7 why not...

ALAS! She had 1 available spot as there had been a cancellation recently so I snagged it up as quickly as I could. Cant tell you how very happy I am!

She then informed me I would need to pay up front...well I had to call DFI for his card info while the poor rep. waited on the other line (felt sooo bad about that)

So all is said and done ... the ressie boked... the card charged

One thing just didn't sit too well with me, had I been swindled???
After I hung up with the rep I questioned to myself why she said they would need to move 2 tables together???? so there was an extra table then???? so why did I have to book for 7???

Please someone tell me there is a great reason for this

Dont get me wrong here, still very excited and I realize how lucky I got but confused nonetheless

That sounds very strange....hum....

How could they not fit 2 but can fit 7...that doesn't make sense to me.

Actually the other people traveling w/ us are going to use them but initially I wanted to do just the two of us.

I mean , I can understand that they wouldnt want to use a table for 4,5,or 6 on a party of 2 because they are obviously going to loose money but on the same note If they are willing to use a 2nd table to make room for a party of 7 then one of those 2 tables will have 4 or less seated right? So then why...oh why could they only offer me ressies for a party of 6 or larger????

Just doesnt add up..hmmmmm

This happened to my BF when he made ADR's for Chef Mickey's. They told him they had nothing for 2. He explained to the CM that it was my bday meal and she said well, if there were 3 of you and on that day one got sick and couldn't make it you would still be able to have the ressie.

I am thinking they set it up in a way that they have room for a certain number of parties at various sizes to accomodate differetn groups.

Who knows???
