Am I crazy? Do you think DH will get the hint?

Everyday I email the notice of FREE DINING 5 nights, 6 days for $435.00 to my DH....he has not said one word to me about the fact that I keep sending it to him. Our next trip is not supposed to be for 3 years yet, but I keep hoping.

I am waiting for him to tell me enough is enough....or better yet, "book the darn thing"

I asked a question once about giving my husband hints. I was told that men don't get hints. :rotfl: But, you never know, maybe he's surprising you.

LOL!
I went to my DH a few weeks ago..."you know so-and-so at work said that WDW was offering Free dining this fall if you book by June."

2 days later he emailed me "you need to take the following days off work"
hehehe
then 2 days ago he emails me "you need to take more time off...I extended the trip"

LOL!

I swear...free food and DH is all over it! (we went last year during free dining and didn't HAVE the free dining...it was our last trip on our PAP...) I think DH is going to eat like a king in september...his meal and most of mine

::yes:: ::yes:: Don't hint with men -- just ask. :thumbsup2

I believe that I did ask awhile ago, he reminded me about the new roof we need! (we could always use a bucket :rotfl2: )

After 25 yrs I will tell you what my DH would say if you wanted to go "why didn't you just say something, how was I supposed to know!"

so to your question yes you are crazy and NO he will never get the hint! I believe the poster who said most men do not take hints. My DH will often say why didn't you just ask, I can't read minds I would have gladly done it but I didn't know you wanted me to ( after about a dozen hints or so) So from my experience just come out and say it.

Oh, well, in that case, he's ignoring you rather than telling you no again. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

As a guy, I'll tell you that 99% of us would prefer our wifes ask for something rather than hint about it. To be honest, I haven't met anyone in the other 1%, but I guess they might be out there somewhere.

Yup, he is ignoring her, hoping the emails will go away. He has not mentioned the emails, because he probably does not want to talk about the trip, and to mention the emails, he will have to talk about the trip.

To the OP, either ask him right out, or drop it. The emails are not working. :teeth:

Yep, gotta go with this one.

And, he's probably deleting them on a daily basis with a little curse under his breath. ;)

Actually, I did leave one thing out and that is the fact that he is terrified of flying, we usually drive down but it would be crazy to do that if we are only going for 5 days.

I know that hinting probably isn't the best way of going about it, I guess I have just been hoping that he is doing like some other posters have suggested and that he is going to surprise me.........guess if he is, he will have to tell me soon :goodvibes

Men and hint do not belong in the same sentence.:rotfl:
So true!

Even when they GET the hint (rare), they seem to not like hints, for some reason.

Just ask him. Then your wondering will be done. :)

My DH hates it when I hint around and I think this is true for most men.

Flat out ask him if he wants to go or drop it.

It's generally because typically hints don't give adequate details in order for us to take that hint and properly execute it.

Example: I'm given a hint about a WDW trip, so I book one for dates I think would work well. Next thing you know, I find out the week I picked has 2 birthday parties, 3 games and a dinner that I didn't know about. I'm screwed, even though I was trying to do the right thing. :confused3

Isn't it funny that they don't GET the hint, yet, if he did the same thing to me, I would have his trip so fast it would make his head spin!!! :confused3

He does not have your email address on his junk/spam mail filter, does he? :teeth: :duck:

Make the arrangements and tell him to be packed :moped:
Men do NOT take any hints at all unless is revolves around them :rotfl:

Sorry, if hasn't taken the hint by now he never will. Just ask him then you both can quit wondering. You can stop wondering if you get to go on the trip and he can stop wondering when the e-mails will stop. :teeth:

Good luck!

lol :rotfl2: Oh, that is funny....perhaps I should set up a new email and start sending it from there....lol :rotfl: Just KIDDING!!!!

Hope he doesn't, because then he is missing all the "I Love You" emails!! :)
