Am I choosing the right neighborhood?

I have a group of 18. I have three houses to choose from. All are pretty equal. House 1 is in The Villages at Legacy Park, House 2 is in Emerald Island, House 3 is in Hampton Lakes. They're all pretty equal in price and features. I'm leaning towards House 2 in Emerald Island. Of the three, this has the easier commute to the parks right? I have never rented a house before and I have read so much over the past few weeks, it's all starting to mush together.

I am not familiar with location 1 and 3, but Emerald Island is very easy commute to the parks! Nice and convenient to everything. Grammy

Legacy Park and Hampton Lakes would be about the same as far as distance goes. They're both out on 27 and while it's nice there, they are a ways away from the parks.
Emerald Island would have the quickest commute to Disney and any of the other parks. Probably about 5 min from AK using Sherberth Rd. Just make sure each house is licensed for 18 people.
If the homes are equal then the only thing you have to decide is how far you want to drive. Emerald Island would make it easy if you wanted to leave the park for a couple of hours to rest then return later in the day. We stayed at Windsor Hills and did this and it was no problem ( it's about the same distance as EI ). Good luck deciding!

I've stayed in EI and Hampton Lakes before. The drives are much different. Though we didn't mind the one from Davenport (about 15-20 min depending on traffic).

The biggest difference for us was-- we got a bigger house w/ more amenities in Hampton Lakes for less than the bare bones 1/2 the size house in EI. So, it would be hard to make comparision's. We found the drive to not be bad, and the stores and such in that area were a lot less crowded.

BUT....if I had an equal house at equal money-- I'd go for EI because of it's proximity to the parks.
