I am working and figuring, but as I think about it, am I going to have any room left?? never been to the food and wine we are going more for the MNSSHP but we plan on hitting epcot hard

Thanks for anyone that could help guide us

I was there last year, but didn't really do any of the F&W Festival stuff.

There are booths set up around the WS that have sample sized portions of different food. I believe most are on the DDP for a snack credit.

If you want you could make a meal of it trying out different food from the booths.

I think I recall something about beer bracelets. I don't drink so I didn't pay too much attention.

the day we went to F & WF. I would much rather have continued to nosh around the world than eat a sit down meal. The food is so good and so varied. Definitely skip dinner. You won't need it!!!

We're planning 2 Epcot days and for 1 of them, we're just going to eat at the F&W booths. From what I've read, they accept snack credits for some of them so that's our plan.:goodvibes

We ate at Le Cellier on the weekend we went to F&W and I was sorry that we did. Not for the meal at Le Cellier, that was very good, but I realized I would have been happier had we just continued to eat around the world at the booths. There were so many things to pick from - I think we would have enjoyed that more than spending 1.5 hours in a restaurant.

If you are going on a weekend, especially a Saturday, make a reservation. You may not be able to get too close to many of the food booths, especially if the weather is good because that draws more local crowds.

We were at DW last year the last week in October and almost every day ended up at EPCOT, mostly cause we had ARDs for dinner at San Angle, Rose & Crown, Coral Reef and Chefs De France and lunch at Le Cellier (you can cee we like EPCOT restaurants). What we did is we had many CS breakfasts, we went twice to Capt'n Cooks at Poly for tonga toast and 3 times we went to POR Riverside mill food court (mostly for made to order omlets). So most of our lunches were with the snack credits at the Food and Wine fest. This year we are signed up again for the last week in Oct. but are thinking QSDP cause of the 2 snack credits per person (great for the wine feast), but we may pay OOP for 2 TS reataurants (have to have our Le Cellier) or switch to the regular DDP (still thinking on that one). Either case we will have many breakfast CS meals.

I plan on having sit down dinners, but for lunch I have scheduled 3 mornings at Epcot to have plenty of grazing time. We have done it for the past few years and it works for us. Many people are happy grabbing a few samples and a glass of wine.

We're doing the opposite - we'd rather have a sit-down lunch to get out of the heat and to rest our legs. We will have way more energy in the evening for walking around the WS, snacking and drinking!

We went to the F&W last year. We made dinnertime ADRs, but sampled at the food booths for lunch on three different days.

It worked out very well for us because we wanted to go to some of the cooking seminars in the afternoon and lunch ADRs would have interfered with the first session of the day.

Going on a weekday is the best option, but if you're there on a week end, I would definitely recommend dinner ADRs because there'll be a lot of locals making the lines at the booths long.

Last year we were able to use our DDP snack credits for the food samples, but not for the beer or wine. Hope they'll continue to allow this.

One more thing we did - because we were staying at the Beach Club Villas, we would buy some things to take back to our room for a late snack or for breakfast next morning - especially the yummy crab cakes!

I plan to do the same. We've got a few days of "brunching" around the World Showcase with very late (8:30 or later) dinner reservations.

We're going end of October and booked late dinners (8 or 9pm...Yachtsman, Cal/Grill,Il Mulino, V&A, Artist Point,Jiko) during F&W.
Only booked two lunches...MGM (Sci Fi for fun) and AK (Y&Y cause it's new)...planning on hitting F&W for our other lunches.
Sounds like a plan

I haven't made any ADRs for my October trip because I'm waiting for info about the special dining events from the festival. I would probably want ADRs on weekends anywhere but Epcot to avoid festival crowds.

We love F & W each October.
When on the DDP we would schedule 1 TS lunch at DHS one day and then Nosh Around the World for dinner that night. On a second day we would just Nosh Around the World for both lunch and dinner using our snack credits for food samples. We would save the 1 TS from that day and combine it for one evening at a Signature Restaurant.
It worked great for us.
Have a Great Trip

We are going to F&WF in October and I made ressies at LE Cellier for Dinner. We paln on sampeling from Mexico to Canada and end up there at our ressie time. We won't eat at every station but will we do alot. We have 8 of us so we pan on sharing small taste so we don't totally fill up. Then maybe at dinner we can absorbe what we drank on our way around!:goodvibes
