NO!!!!!Thanks, i have my liquids in a 200ml bottle, though there is less than 100ml in the bottle. to be sure that i get to keep everything, i'm going out to buy some new little clear bottles.
Security will not 'guesstimate' the actual contents existing in a container ml permitted. The containers must be 3.4 ounce/100 or smaller. Clear, apparent travel-size containers not marked with the size are also risky. Anything that doesn't comply is at risk of being taken and discarded.
Have you checked the site recommended in one of your 'can I bring/has anyone brought' threads? I don't know the Canada website, but if you check www.tsa.gov it's pretty explicit on the containers, packaging, permitted/banned items, etc. You still need the Canadian site for its restrictions on exporting/importing certain products, but the TSA site should tell you pretty much everything you need to know.
They even answer that frequently asked deodorant question, and they talk about mascara and lipstick in detail.
