Am I able to request a specific Saratoga Springs Resort area and room

I'm staying at SSR and wanted to know what is the best area of the resort and room number that i can request when i arrive there, i.e. neartest the pool, food court, parking, etc.

Just tell the reservation agent the same thing you told us. No need to specify a particular section or room number.

There really isn't a food court at SSR. Artist's Palette is a smallish counter service restaurant with limited offerings. And they are certainly not the same food items you get at the All Stars. A little more cuisine than family friendly in my book.

There is a pool for each section and the themed pool is closest to Artist Palette and the Carriage House. That would be the Springs.

Congress Park and the Paddocks are closest to DTD. Carousel is closest to the entrance of the resort. The Grandstand is the newest section and is closer to the golf course. I understand that the Grandstand also has a themed pool.

There is parking near each section, so you aren't too far from your car to your villa.

Just tell them a general area. If you specify a specific room and someone is already in it (maybe they checked in 3 days earlier) they won't boot the other family out, of course, and they will have no idea of where to put you.
