Planning 10 days in parks 2 days 1 each in water parks. As of now I have 3 MK, 2 HS, 2 AM, 2 Epcot. The last park day I have as open. 2 down days. How would you split 16 days? You have 10 day PH with water.

just a note: I'm now a local but I just did 9 days in the parks not counting many other nights with ending and startings leading up to it..

I find I want a rest from the walking on the 3rd, 6th and 10th day. especially the third day.. that's the one where we are uncomfortably sore and trouble sleeping that night so a day around the resort, maybe a meal at another resort or springs (without turning springs into 3-7 miles of walking) works great for us....

16 days is a pretty good amount of time, maybe it's time for that first day trip to universal? do it earlier as it might spark the desire for a second day.

  • I would make MK the first and last theme park, if workable.
  • I would make sure that my first theme park day was a day I was already settled in & had a good night's sleep. So if coming in late to begin my resort stay, I would make the first full day at WDW a resort day to recuperate from traveling & get settled in/oriented to the resort, or make it one of the water park days.
  • I would plan to utilize EMH for MK on at least one of the MK days.
  • I would follow up my longest-hour park days with either a resort day or a water park day (water parks don't open until 10, & people rarely spend all day in them, unlike the theme parks).
  • In general, I would be careful to build plenty of rest into my plans, not following late nights up with early mornings, or having more than 3 full days at theme parks in a row. I would do some half days, & build breaks into most of my theme park day plans.
