My neighbor and I were shopping and we noticed some water bottles marked 100% Aluminum. My neighbor said that since there was not a sticker on them indicating they were BPA free then they had BPA in them. I told her that since aluminum wasn't a plastic it was then, by default, BPA free.
Just like if you bought a new set of glasses for your kitchen. If you bought glass, by the nature of the material, BPA free. Per her reasoning, not unless there was a sticker saying so.
One of us is mistaken.
