Alton Towers closed 28th & 29th June!

I've just had an email to say that AT will closed on the 28th and 29th June, due to a private party, anyone know anything about it?

I'm intrigued now as it surely has to be something big to close the UK's biggest theme park at such short notice.

Big BT event - well that was an anti-climax! LOL I thought it was going to be something exciting, looks like we'll be doint Thorpe Park that weekend instead!

It's for BT employees and their families who have been with the company for at least 30 years - it must be costing them an absolute BOMB!

DW'S Dad is heading over to this event at the weekend. It sounds like it will be very busy - over 50,000 people!

Doesn't this just prove that BT have far too much money to spend?!

Rumour control has it that they wanted Stevie Wonder to sing "I just called to say I love you" - but he was too pricey.

Status Quo are playing though along with others.
