Alternatives to Autograph Book?

Hi! I am looking for ideas on alternatives to an autograph book to bring to the parks. We already have a book filled up from last year's trip, and I honestly don't see the need for another one. I recently saw a super cool idea - bring a mat from a picture frame for characters to sign. When you get home, frame a picture from your trip, and all the signatures will then be on display so you can always see them. Cute, right?!?

Let me know what you have done in the past, or what you plan on doing for your next trip!

Thanks! :-)

I plan on doing the photo mat idea you mentioned. I've also seen people having t-shirts signed.

This past December I took a new LL Bean zippable canvas tote bag for autographs. I'm always checking out loads of material from the library and have been wanting something to contain the mess and help solve the problem of me walking out carrying the leaning tower of books. I had both characters and other CMs sign including a very fun bus driver, my JC skipper, TS restaurant waiter who was quite talkative and entertaining, the captain of the big paddlewheel boat, chefs who did an amazing job with my allergen-free meals, the town crier in front of CHH (who sang for me "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" after signing), the Liberty singers at EPCOT, and a number of others who added to our magic. Many of the CMs had never been asked for their autograph and our JC caption was completely thrilled to be considered as important as Mickey for once! I still love the fact that I was able to get autographs from a wide variety of people and when people notice my bag I always explain that WDW is great because even Mousekeeping and the bus drivers take part in the magic.

Can I ask what type of pens you used for the tote? And did you do anything to "seal" in the writing once you got home?
