alternatives/comparables to Windsor Hills

any experienced DW vacationers out there that have stayed in resort accommodation similar to Windsor Hills (condos or townhouses)? We have stayed in Windsor Hills 4 times in the past but can't find something satisfactory for our dates this year. Comparable suggestions in Kissimmee area please and thanks!

Paradise Palms would be a little further west but have similar resort amenities as WH. The townhouses have splash pools. Encantada also has townhouses with splash pools and a big resort pool. Reunion Resort is south on Old Lake Wilson Rd from WH. You can find private rentals on vrbo/homeaway. Their townhouses don't have splash pools but there are 9 or 10 pools around the resort plus a mini waterpark. Windsor Palms has twh with pools and is similar to WH but pool isn't as grand. Emerald Island has twh and condos but not with pools. Do have a resort pool/clubhouse. Both of these also have 4 br. pool homes also.
Bonnet Creek, Vistana Resort, Floridays etc are timeshare resorts with condos that are nice.

If you wish to stay as close to Disney as WH is I would suggest Emerald Island is the next best place as only 3 miles from
Disney. As suggested by OP, EI has townhomes without splash pools but to correct them it doesn't have condos. You will find EI slightly cheaper than WH. Reunion is another option only 6 miles from Disney, huge selection of properties but very different to WH and EI in that it is a vast resort of many sub communities as opposed to one single gates community centred around a clubhouse/community pool area. We've used the EmeraldIslandPrivateRentals and ReunionPrivateRentals websites to book places in the past.

Reunion is great! Beautiful area! Champions Gate has a brand new rental neighborhood and all of the homes have pools, you might want to check into that also. Both are about 10 minutes to Disney.

We just booked a place in Indian Creek area, only 3 miles to the gates, so basically not much farther than WH. Only 5 minutes to AK, and I believe they said about 10 minutes to the parking lot (TTC) for MK. As far as the house itself, almost identical to the one we had booked at Wh - 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, HUGE private pool (30'!!!), they supply bicycles, large fenced in private back yard, and we can view the fireworks from the backyard. The price was half of what it was going to cost us at WH. We found it on VRBO.com, had 30 reviews, all 5 star.

As far as the area - WH is a gated resort, so club house, pool, playground etc... IC is not. It's an upscale, ungated subdivision. I really didn't care about the other stuff, as all we wanted was a private pool.

paradise Palms. Wè liked everything about it better except the distance to parks. It was maybe an extra 10 minutes so still not bad
