Alternative to Florida

With high flight prices I thought about somewhere different next year, maybe the Maldives but Karen says no.

My husband and I absolutely loved the Maldives ... although I don't think it's a family destination and IMHO you need to dive to get the best out of it ....... we spent more time beneath the ocean than above it.

I would be bored after 10 mins there. Once had chance of a last minute All inclusive to Maldives, 2 weeks for £200 and we turned it down, not our sort of thing, I don't even like putting my bare feet on sand.

Now theres an idea, 2 islands close by so you can chose one or the other or have a split stay.
