I've hear reviews about the Bagalini, but what do you prefer to take to the parks?

I have a meduim size black backpack that has WDW 2000 embroideried on it.It's easy to carry all our stuff and me,DH and 2 DSs take turns carrying it.

I prefer a photographer's vest. Easy to wear. Assign a couple pockets to everyone. Take turns wearing it. :thumbsup2

I love my hip bag. I don't carry around a bunch of stuff with me, but I love the fact of having a strap around my waist instead of straps over my shoulders. Also with a hip bag I can unsnap the belt, put it through the handle of my cup or the handles of a bag and snap it back on. Ta da! My hands are now free of carrying anything. :)

I love my baggalini! I have a smaller black one, and a larger beige one. It carries important things like cell phone, tissues, glasses, etc. without getting caught on anything. It's lightweight and I can quickly remove it (for a bag check) or make it a shoulder bag. I love to use it if we go dancing, this way I don't have to leave my bag at the table and yet it's so lightweight, I don't even know it's there.

Every year before we go to Disney, I go shopping for a Disney purse. The purse doesn't necessarily have to have anything Disney on it, but rather has to be big enough for me to hold all of my and DH's stuff for the day. The one I got for this year very easily carries the basics, a small pharmacy (you name it, I've got it) plus an umbrella, bug repellent, sunscreen, and our Hidden Mickey Guide. :goodvibes

What do you need to carry?? That would determine the size of bag you would need. My kids are now 7 & 10 and most days I go off with NOTHING and I stuff things in my pockets - it saves stopping at the bag checks at the parks :)

I also carry a fanny pack at times, and then I go for the (lime green) backpack if I am taking my bigger camera.

Tribus121's wife: When DH and I went to Disneyland a year ago (February), we had fanny packs.

This year, when the whole family goes to WDW, we will have fanny packs and also a backpack as we need to take stuff for DD4.

Hmm, we usually each have a digital camera (two total), a bottle of water, suntain lotion for bfriend who burns like crazy, Hidden Mickey book, wallet, Kand a poncho. I almost forgot about the ponchos until l was talking to bf last night and he reminded me. lol. Looks like some type of bag must go this year no matter what.

DH and I carry a small camera bag (about 6x6x2)that we bought several years ago at WDW. We leave the camera cables out and have one side for tissues, chapstick, allergy meds, passes, credit card, IDs. We have rain jackets that fold into small pouches that will clip onto the camera bag. We also carry small folding umberellas if the weather is really bad.

This is the bag that I am going to try out this year:

It goes across your chest or on one shoulder. I tried it at a Champ Car race and liked it across my chest. I'm anxious to try it in the parks!

At the race, I carried my wallet, cell phone and camera. For the parks, I will just need to add my tickets and a water bottle and I should be all set!

Best of luck in finding your ideal bag!

I like a small drawstring backback
Mine is from Disney
I love it because
*it has a card pocket for room keys and other cards
*cell phone pocket
*some other pockets on the inside
*one pocket on the outside
It's just so easy to use it fits my water bottle, pal mickey, pin lanyard, and room keys and it is very small and light.

If you need a lot of room for a poncho, don't bother. They have tiny little packed ponchos at WalMart in the camping section. They are only about $.80 and can fit in your pocket!

I have a waist pack but don't like to wear it if I don't need to.
When I can pack light, a well-designed pair of cargo shorts is all I need. I can carry a cell phone, digital camera, 12 oz water bottle, wallet, park passes and tissue pack without being uncomfortable. And I can enter the park through the "no bags" security line!

I personally would rather not carry anything, Ive done that a few times and its so "freeing" (so to speak) I'm always afraid of forgetting something, like needing my camera because I might miss a good picture opportunity. I always end up carry some sort of bag.

BTW- what is a " baggalini" ? :confused3
