I am trying to get a new wheelchair I need, a Quickie GT with power assist wheels from Frank Mobility. i can't use a normal manual wc, because of damage to my shoulders, but a power chair is not right either (cant get it in house or car, and i will feel worse if i do not remain somewhat active... I am at the point where a used wheelchair from ebay no longer cuts it, i need something actually made for me...

Unfortunately i dont think my insurance will pay for much, and i am working with the state to see what i can do. however, i know there are grants and foundations out there that help with this, and I am wondering if anyone knows of any of them...

Just looking for ideas, and perhaps others here can benefit from the info... thanks!

Mom needs a new chair and I need an ECV and insurance is a pain in the rump. I hope you get some help soon but I feel right now that prayers and faith and pixie dust is all that can help, tired of fighting for mobility.

my son had the push wheels with the motors in them from franks
and we traded them back in for the same company ones that you can control with a joystick as he was to young at the time for the emotion push wheels

franks worked with us in the trade in so ask them maybe they have a set they took in on trade you can get cheaper

good luck
scott
