Alternate cruise line board

If this helps, there are other boards out there...Cruisemates...Supercruise...Cruise@ddicts etc. I did a Google search for cruise boards and found these easily, I'm sure there are more.

I have to admit that I felt guilty answering so many of the questions about RCCL on this board. But at the same time it didn't feel right telling people to visit the other board. I visit the other board -- pretty much -- to try and gain information for my upcoming cruise. BUT I don't post over there too often at all -- it just isn't a very friendly place. Nothing like the DIS! Even though I don't have a Disney cruise planned -- I can't seem to tear myself away from here!

I don't have another DCL cruise planned either, in fact I may never, but I still come here everyday. I find the people here so much friendlier!

I too was feeling guilty about discussing RCCL or other lines, but I enjoy those cruises as well!

This is such a great group of people and I hope I get a chance to stay here and dicuss other cruise options!

I would also LOVE to see the cruise board expanded!!

I've cruised Disney and Princess, and have a HAL cruise planned for June. I would love to have a place to ask questions and share.

I was able to get an incredible amount of information before my Disney cruises thanks to the wonderful folks here, but those other cruise boards just aren't the same...

I'm a big Disney Cruise fan, but I too would like to see another board for other cruise lines. We are looking at cruising both Hawaii and Alaska in the future. I've also been on a number of lines over the years (before Disney). I lurk over on another site and post once in a while, but I think the DIS is the best.

Another yes vote from here. We are cruising in August (Princess to Alaksa) and I really miss the additional information that I got from here prior to our first DCL cruise.

Another vote of interest for an alternate cruise line board.

We love all the great info we're getting for our DCL cruise in October, but my siblings and I are considering booking an Alaskan cruise in summer '04 for my parents' 50th anniversary and other info would be greatly appreciated. I've already told them if we go with the cruise, alternate idea trans-Canada train trip, we're got to use Dreams! I've read such good things about them here.

The DIS is the only place where you're welcomed like family from your very first post!

Don't feel guilty about posting about other cruise lines or posting on other boards. It's all about getting the information you need. I have been using cruisecritic for many years now and I have gotten lots of information that has saved me alot of money on cruising, no matter what the line is. I agree that there are some people with rude and spitefull attidutes but for the most part the people are friendly and willing to help you out.

Glad to hear this. While we're not cruising Disney this year we will be next year. We are cruising on the Voyager of the Seas this August and while I've gathered info from cruisecritics, it's just not the same over there. This is home.
