I used Elmer's Craft Bond Acid Free Multi purpose Spray Adhesive for the ones I made for DD's book.

Disclaimer: This stuff will glue your fingers together it works so well. So be careful. Yup, I looked like E.T after the first round of spraying. THEN to top it off every time I use the stuff the little cap you press down on comes off and sticks to my finger . I'm a mess but it works wonderfully!

So, I bought this today, did a set of 10, and ALL of the paperclips have come off....even after drying for hours!

I'm done! (dropped that other idea after the glue didn't work...still don't know why!)

going to be weird to mail, I think...I put them down the side of cardstock, well actually around all 4 sides of an 8.5x11 sheet....but I'm worried about them hanging off the edge. Not mailing just yet, til I find some safe way of backing up the paper!

Before we got the pm about putting them down the card stock, I had alread placed them in little baggies. The small jewelry baggies and they fit really well. I hope that will work for mailing them-

I really appreciate the offers to drop out so I can join but it's really not necessary. I couldn't decide whether to even do it or not and just took too long. I was also kind of just trying to fill a space on the second group because even though the spots were filled, the first post hadn't been updated so it looked like there were three spaces not filled. My mom is doing this swap and she said I can help her which I think will work better for the both of us anyways . So thank you very much for your kind offers!

I need HELP! After fiddling all afternoon, my idea for my second set of clippies has failed miserably. I'm at a complete standstill now and I'm super frustrated. I've been digging through my stash for hours and the only thing I can come up with for a replacement are primas and that seems like such a cop-out cause I know all of y'all are going to come up with gorgeous stuff.

Can y'all tell me what kind of stuff you would like to see on your clippies and I'll see if I can come up with something to fit one of the requests?

I put my first set around a piece of chipboard that is 8 x 6. The clippies fit just fine and they'll fit nicely into an envelope with a larger piece of paper for stability.

Shauna, what about taking your primas and stringing them on some floss or a colored wire so they look like a weeping cherry tree stem, or orchid if you use wire and bend them up and over. You could wrap the string/wire around the bend of the clip too to give is some added punch.

Before spots were so kindly offered, I told pretty in tink that she could do half of mine to send in (we'll send them in together) and then she could keep half that got sent back. It probably will be better this way for us because we have completed 2 swaps but haven't received anything back yet to see if we are doing up to the standards of everyone else. I kind of feel like I need to be juried for these swaps. Thanks for the offers though.
