:mic: Your attention please! The Sacramento, CA and Disneyland passenger Camry, Jack, is now loading in my drive way for a road trip to Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom!

Welcome to my PTR! We're all obsessed with Disney movies, so I figured that our nicknames should reflect that. Each one of us named after our favorite disney characters! :D Sometimes my geekiness gets the better of me :thumbsup2

I'm Patrick, nicknamed Stitch, your narrator and guide through this tour of our trip! This trip is my birthday present from my mom, so its really awesome. I got to do all the planning and choose who got to come on the trip, and she paid for it. Its pretty much the best birthday present I've had in a long time. My mom knows me so well. :woohoo: Originally she was going to come but she thought being around a bunch of crazed young adults might be too much without someone her own age lol.

My supporting cast this trip will be:

My DGF Jordan, nicknamed Belle. This is our second trip together. It's half her birthday present and half her going away present. She is going to be working at WDW as an intern starting in August until January! I'm so proud of her! I'm going to miss her like the crazy...but its so worth it. I'm going to get to brag that my girlfriend worked at Disneyworld! I'm very happy. Disney is one of our biggest shared loves. So of course I needed to do something for her! Shes my girlfriend, I couldn't not

Next, my DBFF Brandon, who will be nicknamed Milo. He hasn't been in a while and he's been going through a hard time lately, and I needed to do something for him. Its his birthday coming up so we made this his birthday present from us because he needed a pick me up. And what better place than Disneyland with your friends? Hes a Disney fanatic, so it just seemed right. His favorite movies are the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, I wonder what ride were going to spend lots of time on...lol :teeth:

And lastly we have Milo's GF Alexa, who will be called Tiana. The last time she was at Disneyland was she was 5 :scared1:! This is our chance redeem her and make her remember how amazing the magic kingdom is. She doesn't have a birthday or anything, we just want her to love Disneyland and make great memories she doesn't have :) She needs more fun and exciting adventures in her life, and this seemed like the best and most appropriate to start her with.

Our plan, as of right now, is were going to be leaving Sacramento around 10 or 11 on June 1, and going on our six or seven hour journey in my car, Jack, a 2001 Toyota Camry. The ride will consist of lots of Rock (classic and newer) and alternative music, lots of random karaoke, and maybe a bit of stand up comedy from Christopher Titus :) When we get down to Anaheim, we'll be staying at The Tropicana Inn right across the street from the park. I love that we are staying across the street because I don't have to worry about paying parking when we go to the park. All we need to do is walk across the street and we're there! Absolutely brilliant! Were planning on hitting up DTD the first night and having dinner and just enjoying ourselves before the first day in the park. We've got four day hopper passes and and a one day trip to Universal Studios!

Our plan is the first two days to go on our rampage of Disneyland and CA Adventure, taking over the park to the best of our abilities  I don't think we're really going to have any sort of plan in the park. Its going to be kinda random craziness and hitting up everything we can as many times we can. And of course, seeing Fantastmic! since it will be back! I'm hoping to see it twice and get lots of pictures of it since I didn't have a camera last time I went...

We're going to take a break from the magic kingdom in the middle of the week by going to take in Universal studios. I haven't been to Universal Hollywood before, so I'm quite looking forward to it :) Unfortunately there's no Back to the Future ride anymore (my favorite movie)....:sad1: but I guess I'll need to deal. I'm sure I won't mind once I get back to Disneyland the next day and riding Indiana Jones (my second favorite movie!) for the nth time :rolleyes1

So on June 7th, after our five day extravaganza and one more night of sleep, we will begrudgingly leave our happy place (well at least for three of us, hoping Tiana finds it is hers too!) and head back to Nor Cal. Happy, satisfied, and of course sad to leave, but its well worth it! Once I get back, I will try and plan for the next outing so I can save funds for the next trip. Not sure when it will be yet...but it will be sometime next year :)

I will be taking my trusty camera with of course, so there will be lots of pictures to share once I get back! :) I invite all of you to join my companions and I on our newest adventure through time and space...well, the Magic Kingdom, but close enough :thumbsup2

So, all aboard and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Meega, nala kwisht! pixiedust:

How fun. I think sharing the trip with people you care about makes it that much more fun. Our nicknames came from my daughter, little nutcase that she is.

Haha I loved her nicnames they cracked me up =)
I'm really looking forward to it though. We've all been really close friends for 2 or 3 years, except for Brandon and I being the exception who have been friends since elementry school. I definitely agree that going with people you care about makes the trip that much better! Especially when its the people you know are going to be around for the rest of your life =) I wish it was already June lol

Me too. You need a trip ticker like I have.

I just made one! =D
Its not quite like yours but I like it =)

I like that everybody has different tickers. My daughter has one that is little so she can have her pictures in her signature. Can miss out on Brendon Urie.:rotfl:

I like that everyone does too, it makes us all feel kinda connected with our major love for Disneyland. Disneyland brings people together :cool1:

Really? Nice :thumbsup2 One of my friends lived up in Auburn so I used to go up and see him a bunch there.

I do love the trip down I-5, its always fun when your with your friends and family! I am abnormal and I love driving long distances so I always look forward to the drive :)

So it looks like the first two day we're in the park Indy is down for refurb, but it will be up the rest of the trip thank goodness! Its my favorite ride and I'd hate to miss it during the trip :D I'm really excited Fantastmic will be opening in late May this year instead of June 11th like many originally thought. And I'm also really hoping we might catch the a soft opening of WOC at CA Adventure because it opens five days after we leave, but there will hopefully be soft openings so we won't miss it :D

Love the new title for the trip report. :lmao: I think that the crowds at Fantasmic will be less with the WOC opening. Or at lest I hope so. The big opening is happening during our trip. I did not plan this well.

Haha thanks! I thought it actually fit better so I decided to go with it. I was laughing when I wrote it and was hoping others would appreciate it. Glad someone did! :stitch2:

Yea I'm hoping that with WOC openings Fantastmic's crowd will be smaller. You'll still probably be fighting for a spot but oh well...so worth it! Love the show :)

Are you guys going to try and hit up WOC when it opens during your trip?

I really want to, and because we are gonna be there six days I am sure that we will figure out a way to. It really depends on how big the crowd is.

I definitely understand that. If I catch a soft opening of it I will let you know how big the crowd is. I'm sure that the crowd will be bigger during those first official openings though, lots of people really looking forward to it, me included :D

Its one of the newest ones we've gotten in a while and i've heard its really quite breath taking so I am one of those really looking forward to it :)

We are going to be there for the grand opening as it were. Had I known I would never have planned our trip for that time. I figure I am going again this year or early next year, so I will get my chance.

Thats true. Maybe waiting until the crowds died down would be better. Then you could actually see whats going on...its hard to enjoy some of the shows if your so far a way you can't tell whats going on ><

That was my thought. And there are nine of us, I can just see saving spots for that many people. No thank you.:rotfl:

Haha so true! Good call :) its a lot easier saving it for 3 people then 9...but at disneyland saving spots...its nearly impossibly :P
