Because he is too funny all on his own. You could never do him justice with a dubbing.
Yes, I agree the dishes were gross. I could never be a judge on that show. Even when they are doing desserts they manage to fit squid eyes or something equally as nasty into it.
I won't even tell you what I thought the dish with the horse mane fat and the mayo spread over it looked like Hehehe
Sometimes some of the food looks REALLY good, but there's always that one weird dish where it's just disgusting looking. I told my bf that we should be the ones sitting up there and say things like, "Uhhh...that looks REALLY nasty. I'm NOT touching THAT!" or "I think McDonald's would hit the spot better than this."
LOL....it'd be fun to be on that show
I think there was an episode with lobster brains in the desert now that I think about it
I think my bf made some comment as well that if they had urine in a cup, the panel would drink it and say it tasted good
Seriously though, some of their ingredients are bizarre. Ox tails? That's the weirdest one I've seen to date. The lobsters a few weeks ago looked nice, but the squid/octopus was a little scary. They also describe the food a bit odd. "This food creates harmony in my mouth. The meat is soft, yet salty. The sauce is warm, yet textured. My mouth is very happy."
No, I never saw the SNL sketches. Who plays in them?
I have to say my favorite chef is Sakai Hiroyuki, the French Iron Chef. I guess it's his sense of "humor" and life that he has. The other two are so quiet, and never seem to smile.
I didn't care much for the Iron Chef America this past week. I think it's the whole dubbing effect that makes it so amusing
I'm a Travel Channel junkie. I love watching all of the haunted hotels/places, cruises, and ANYTHING Vegas on there
