15 minutes would have been sufficient...can we wrap this up already!

I have a feeling this is going to become a weekly thing

This guy can't win, can he? I, for one, am very interested in what he has to say. Turn it off.

Yeah, after 8 years of a president who was hardly ever in office, this takes getting used to.

Hey I voted for him! I just wish they would announce these well in advance so my shows don't get bumped! Well, I guess they would still be bumped but hopefully I'd know about it.

I have an idea...how about we broadcast this on pay per view?

The man does like the sound of his own voice.

OMG, I was thinking the same thing.
Some of those answers are REALLLLLLLY long.

I hear ya! I missed Chuck completely, not to mention this throws off my entire DVR schedule for tonight! I am sorry but he is just saying the same thing over and over, and has been FOR DAYS! I had a terrible flashback this morning when I saw him at a townhall meeting:eek: ! Sure looks like same 'ol same 'ol in DC to me.

OMG - he has to comment on baseball during prime time? Come on where are my mindless shows?? Enough already!

I think he is speaking to the people... good job on your news conference Mr. President:thumbsup2
He had to deliver bad news of a horrid economy and yet not scare the American people even more than they are now. He thinks before he answers. As far as the baseball question.. he did not bring it up.. he just answered the question asked.

oh.. and QVC and Food Network .. HBO, Showtime etc, etc, etc.... all not showing the POTUS.... so just flip the channel folks ;)

I think he's choosing his words carefully, trying to be very thorough in his answers and give honest answers. Novel, I know.

He gets 6 more minutes then he's getting turned off. An hour is ridiculous.

I'm chuckling wondering if he does this do his kids when explaining something. :rotfl:

He does that when a) he's not sure of what he's talking about and b) when he's trying to convince himself of the answer too. He speaks faster when its something he truely believes in.

Tonight, its sllooooooowwwwww.

:scared: Then I'm guessing they're well behaved!

Bill was like this too. I can't watch it. I see every word as another dollar out of my pocket. It's too depressing.

Ironically, I could watch Bill a little bit easier. Him, not so much.

I like Obama. I do. However, I rushed home to get my weekly fix of Big Bang Theory and I really could have used a laugh tonight.
