Alright DISConers - Grab Your Poles ***Closed!!!***

Well, the first fishing excursion of DISCon 2002 sold out quickly. There is a second boat added, on the morning of December 6th. There are three spots open, so if you or a spouse would like to go out from the Boardwalk and fish INSIDE of Epcot before the parks open, post here so that I can add you to the list. The cost for the trip is $35, based on 5 people in the boat. The time will be at 7:00 am - 9:15 am.

Fishing in Disney is catch and release, but we will shoot the fish once caught. (With our digital cameras for all of the PETA people!!) The boats from the Boardwalk use lures, NOT live bait. Also, the guide will remove any fish, if there are people who want to fish, but not touch the icky creatures.......

Anyone else??? This really is fun. I have done this 4 times before , and I have always caught at least one fish. Especially since Disney has scuba divers that put the fish onto your lines.

LOL Brian! Love the scuba divers. We are doing this in 2 weeks. My dad, 2 brothers and my DH. (I willprobably be the fifth. Always thought it would be cool to take a boat into the world showcase!) Hopefully I will have some cool pics to post when I return.

Uh, maybe you should say 'Grab your FISHING Poles'... Someone may think this is a trip to a Exoctic dancing club or Firehouse or something.

Besides, I do not own any fishing equipment, I will be relying on the wonderful equipment they provide.

Are we allowed to use dynamite, drop it in and stun them? I hear they all float to the top and you do not need poles then.

Actually, I will be in the back of the boat, pedaling a special bike that creates electricity. Everyone else can just put their metal rods into the water. This will stun the fish, creating a chance to net them very easily.


Works every time.
