My boyfriend and I have both been to Disneyland, but never together. We're trying to plan a trip for late November for next year. I'm so excited!! Are there any neat, romantic things that must be done? We'll be gong in a group, but one of the days we'd like to devote to just the two of us.

I'm so excited!!!

oooh fun! Funny that you posted this! Actually I am thinking we are going to go (and bring the kids this time! lol) in November 2013 too! I am already trying to plan and scope things out now too! hehe Planning is a lot of the fun, huh?

As far as romantic things go, dinner at Blue Bayou is one of our faves. The ambiance is wonderfully romantic! We also did Napa Rose chef's counter for the first time ever last month, and holy moly! What an experience! I want to go back now again and again! Our bill ended up being about $250 for the two of us, but it was for nearly three hours of eating, chatting with the chefs and watching them cook! I'm a pastry chef myself and I was just in HEAVEN! :lovestruc I hear Carthay is wonderful for couples too! The other non-food thing you have to do is go to Carsland before dusk (get there a lot before you THINK dusk will happen so you won't chance missing it!) sit at the end of the street on one of the benches by Ramone's and wait for the lighting ceremony. You will hear the song "Shaboom" and then one by one, the neon lights turn on all the way up to the front of Carsland. It is magical! After that it gets dark pretty quickly, and slowly meandering down the street, arm in arm is wonderfully romantic! (Try a red's apple freeze from cozy cone while you're there! YUM!) :cloud9: Have a blast!

Oooh! Dinner at the Blue Bayou sounds so good! I've never been, but he has and really likes it. So does the lighting ceremony at Cars Land! We're so excited. We've been together 3 1/2 years and never been to Disneyland together! So we're really trying to make this trip worth while. We're going in either a group of 4 or 6, but one of those days I really want to devote to just us. I always have heard that the Christmas fireworks are pretty romantic on Main Street, with the snow and music and what not.

Only thing is I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG. A year seems to stinkin' long, but I know it will pass without me even noticing it. That's why I'm planning now! :santa::love:

You're in good company :thumbsup2 I'm planning for October 2013 and I'm driving my trip-mates bananas. :dance3:

Hahah! I think I am too. Except my boyfriend. We're both equally excited so it's nice to have someone to share all my planning ideas and such with.

It's never too soon to plan a Disney trip! I'm planning our November trip for my birthday/Christmas party and already SO excited! We've never done a Christmas party before, and we're all looking forward to all the fun. A few great couple "must-do's" are Blue Bayou and Napa Rose restaurants. Blue Bayou gets my vote for atmosphere, but Napa Rose has incredible food. Maybe try and squeeze in a spa/pool day to devote to nothing but relaxing. Enjoy and have fun! ;)

I was thinking about a spa type thing. Anyone know any good places nearby?

We're hoping to do Trader Sam's for our anniversary next week. Appies in a tiki lounge!
