Hi. We will be staying at our home resort, SSR in a couple of weeks prior to our Disney Cruise.

If I call my guide before I arrive and arrange to meet to do another tour of another property (although the rooms are all at SSR) would I be able to get the "gifts" such as FP or Disney dollars for taking the tour if I already own and do not purchase at that time?

Thank you very much.

Members do not take "tours" but there are time slots when you can do an independent tour of the models. They will have an administrative type person there to let you in.

You might get an ice cream, if you are lucky...

Thank you. So it is different when you are already a member.
When I first took a tour, I was offered FPs for one of the parks (MK or Epcot, can't remember) but I had already stockpiled my FPs for the day to use that night and I asked for a Disney Gift card instead, which is what they gave me.
I was wondering if the same thing would happen if I went again, which now sounds like no.

Thank you very much.

When we did the tour at BLT TOTWL in December they gave everyone (all owners) FPs and a pin...

We were just there in mid June and toured the models at SSR with an administration type person as someone mentioned. We got a few cookies and refreshments and that was all.

I always thought one of the classier things DVC did, was not to offer large gifts for touring. I know on occasion DVC has roped people in with nice gifts, but I just find that more reflects the old stereotypical "slimy timeshare" stuff.
