Already have tickets, going to add room now

No, having tickets and then booking a room doesn't make a package. Having a room and adding dining plan does. Booking room and tickets at the same times does.
They way you plan to do it, it will be room only. You will pay 1 night stay as your deposit and balance is due at check in
I don't have a clue why that website worded the answer to the question the way they did. It's really misleading. I've never seen that website so I have no idea how valid their advice is. If it's like this, it sure makes me wonder

If you add tickets to a room it becomes a package. If you already purchased tickets separately and are now booking a room, it's a room-only. You can't add a room to tickets to make a package. A package is created when you add components to a room (tickets or dining), not adding a room to components. The only way you could get a package at this point is to book a "ticketless package" which is a room plus a dining package which you can book over the phone. Or you could book room + tickets and save one set of tickets for another trip or room+tickets+ dining.

Thanks for the clarification. I see I had it backward :)
