Hi all,

We (DH, DS-5, DD-19moths) just bought our air tickets to LAX from Friday 11/23 to Saturday 12/1. We'll buy City Pass for this trip also. Now, I don't know when to go where?? :confused3

This is what we're thinking, please let me know if I should change

1st Schdule:
1. Nov 23rd Friday Arrive relax
2. Nov 24th Saturday California Adventure (Block Party, Alladin Story, parade)
3. Nov 25th Sunday Disney Land (fantasmic ....)
4. Nov 26th Monday either Disney Land/ California Adventure
5. Nov 27th Tuesday relax, eat then drive to San Diego
6. Nov 28th Wednesday Sea World
7. Nov 29th Thursday San Diego Zoo then driving back to Anaheim
8. Nov 30th Friday ½ day Universal studio and get ready to go back
9. Dec 1st Saturday flying back home.

I'm worry that the Saturday and Sunday are crazy since it's Thanksgiving weekend. Or should we do this?

2nd Schdule:

1. Nov 23rd Friday Arrive relax
2. Nov 24th Saturday Universal studio
3. Nov 25th Sunday DCA/DL (Block Party, Alladin Story, Fantasmic)
4. Nov 26th Monday Disney Land (Parade ....)
5. Nov 27th Tuesday relax, eat then drive to San Diego
6. Nov 28th Wednesday Sea World
7. Nov 29th Thursday San Diego Zoo then driving back to Anaheim
8. Nov 30th Friday Disney Land / DCA (Parade or anything that we miss)
9. Dec 1st Saturday flying back home.

With this 2nd schedule, we don't have anything to relax before to go back.

What do you guys this? Please let me know so we can reserve hotels.

Thanks a bunch
Julie

Choices...

Where are you getting your City Passes? Disney and Universal require that you go to their park first. Other than that...

I have two thoughts on your schedules.

Schedule 1:
This seems the most logical and you would have less packing BUT

Schedule 2:
This is more "magical"!! :wizard: You will be seeing Disney at the beginning of your vacation and at the end. There will be more packing and more schlepping around, but honestly, I would probably do this. I would want to have Disney as my last park. You mentioned that you will have less "rest" time. You will be able to rest in the car from San Diego, on the plane, and once you get home. Vacations are not supposed to be restful!!:rotfl:

Whichever you choose, I sure that you will have a wonderful time.

Definitely go with number 2. Based on recent years expect near capacity crowds Thanksgiving weekend, so if at all possible I would avoid Disney at this time. (says the lady who will be there the 5 days leading up to Thanksgiving....:rolleyes1 )

I love these boards!!!

Everyone is so great with information. I suggested the 2nd schedule just because of the fun and someone comes in with some real information! I did not even think about the holiday!
