I have learned (from lots of travels) that, if you get to your room, and something is broken, it is just better to ask for a different room right then and there... or else risk (as the OP went through) two days of crap....
Agreed. That is why we simply asked to be moved. They we extremely apologetic and one of the managers walked us into the new room to make sure it was acceptable. I think you just have to complain to the right person.
On another note, I asked for a crib. They gave me a pack and play. I called and the CM that I spoke with told me that was all that was available. I said OK thanks. I hung up called back spoke to someone else and they delivered my crib in 15 minutes!!
It happens everywhere. Not just the Poly, or Disney.

We weren't planning a June trip, but we all know how that goes. . .it will be a shorter than normal visit this year, but better than no summer stay!
Are you bringing the kiddos?

I don't think he will be surprised we are staying there since I fell in love with it on our first trip just eating there!
I hope you will be able to see him. I am glad you get to take your annual summer trip!

Either way they let us know our room was ready & immediately brought us over!
j/k!
