Thanks for the advice, we do have a 2 bedroom at SSR, there's 3 adults, and 4 kids in our party, so 2 rooms are key. It is more expensive, but we think it's worth the expense. It's for my friend's graduation from college. Myself and DH have always wanted to stay at the Poly, just never have. We don't have the 45% off pin, we have the military 40% off pin, with deluxe dining. 2 of our meals are AT the poly, the rest are at the parks. I haven't called yet, but I will probably tomorrow. It won't be THAT much more expensive....and I'm willing to go up a bit in price. Thanks for the input, it's greatly appreciated.

You're welcome and I'm happy that 2 rooms at the Poly will work for you :cool1: You're gonna LOVE it!

We will be at the poly in a month!:cool1: We can not wait...we are not doing parks all day so we will have plenty of resort time...my dh asked me to marry him on the beach at the poly while watching the fireworks many years ago so now we are going back for our LONG awaited honeymoon!

party: Sounds awesome! Happy Honeymoon! :lovestruc

Happy Friday!

I woke up to more snow this morning. Dreadful. For a few days I thought that winter was over. I was wrong.

I just keep reminding myself that in 64 days happiness will surround me with sunshine.

:beach: Hang in there! :beach:

Happy Weekend Everyone:yay: On the AKL Lite Thread, Zebra Domes (dessert) are "served" every Friday.

For this thread, may I offer a Shrimp Tempura Roll from Kona Cafe

Waking up to MORE SNOW here... Only 32 more days until BWV and 35 days until Poly!:cool1::banana::cool1::banana: Give me strength to get through this month!! Please pray for no more snow for us. While I love snow and actually it's been beautiful to witness it all it's really starting to wear us down. People are getting down right nasty with each other! :sad2:

We woke up to more snow today as well. This is the snowiest winter on record for Philadelphia. We only have 62 more days until our trip to the Poly!! I can't wait!!

Having a super long week at work with the joy of first of the month paperwork to look forward to on Monday. :guilty: I sure would love to be heading to the Poly instead.

:grouphug: To all of my fellow suffering Poly addicts. Have a good weekend.

Finally! Airfare is down so I think I might book our tickets today which will make our dates Official. We think we have decided on thise too!

Although I have about 100 days until ADR time :rolleyes1

I am helping a rookie friend plan her trip which has been a lot of fun though :thumbsup2

Happy Friday everyone :dance3:

We are waiting for Soutwest to put out their schedules for December. Right now you can only book up to August 13.

When we booked our airfare, we were going to wait a few months, but we couldn't resist the seat sale. Never once since then has the price for airplane seats been as lower or lower. I was looking for months watching to see if the seats would go on sale, and it just so happened a few days after christmas they did.

I'm Canadian so we used West Jet.

We also used the WestJet discount for Alamo and saved $181.00 plus got a free car upgrade. It went from costing $460.00 CDN to costing $156.00 CDN.

Anyone know how much a cab would be from poly to universal? Or know of any other mode of transportation to universal except rental car?

As an another southern Ontario girl, I feel your pain. We can pass the time watching our fabulous Olympians put in the performances of their lives and dream sweet Poly dreams. Last Sunday, my boys were out riding bikes and scooters. Today we're back to tobaggons and snow forts. March 15th can't come fast enough!

Our girls were out biking last Sunday too! Crazy Canadian kids! Give them a patch of clear pavement and a temp above 0 degrees (C) ... Actually I've been feeling bad reading about our American neighbours and all of the snow they've been getting lately. We've gotten off pretty easily this winter.

We got that fantastic deal with West Jet too and saved $2500 off our flights for the 5 of us. What a great deal!

Yes, ma'am!
