Hey - speaking of room requests... I have a question. Does it matter WHEN you make your room requests? Are they granted in order of when the requests are received or when you check in, etc.? I haven't figured out which longhouses to request yet and I'm wondering if I have a better shot if I get my requests in early or if that doesn't matter.

leannak Good question someone on the BWI thread told me today I should get my requests in ASAP so I called sat on hold for 1/2 hour hung up and emailed IPO. Already heard back requests noted I think I like this CL stuff

Well, now that I've got the hang of it, here's a few more pics. I'm also throwing in a non-Poly pic. It's me at MK. I'm including it because it was so amazing that it actually was cool enough 2 nites ago that I needed a warm drink - in August!!!

We had that happen during our stay in July last year, I was even thinking sweatshirt!

Well, at least there is hope that I will want a hot pumpkin spice latte when I'm down there at the end of September, early October. Walking down Main St. Disney with my favorite drink.....it's the stuff of dreams...

We are doing end of August next year....I know it's going to be hottttt

What time does the CL Staff start morning check ins over in the Hawaii Longhouse?
In early December I will be arriving to the Polynesian around 7:00am on my check in day and was hoping to check in early (not expecting room to be ready) then head over to MK for rope drop. I am hoping to be able to register in the Hawaii Longhouse as opposed to the GCH Registration Desk...first time staying Poly CL TPV and am so EXCITED!!!

I am hoping to be able to register in the Hawaii Longhouse as opposed to the GCH Registration Desk...first time staying Poly CL TPV and am so EXCITED!!!

I hope you have a wonderful time. We will be checking in on the 7th in the morning. We are counting the days. I have already started buying vacation stuff and putting it aside to be packed. I'm crazy, I know! I literally work to go on vacation.

I used Photobucket to do it. I use Shutterfly for everything else, but Photobucket was easier for this.

Rooms generally get assigned 5 days prior to check in.

Right now I am sorry I posted our experience. I was NOT looking for sympathy and again I was NOT expecting an upgrade and it did NOT ruin our vacation. because we didn't. However other things that did happen are effecting it. I'm done. Thought this board was different but I guess not.

We are, too! 3rd floor of Samoa with Volcano pool view. We leave tomorrow.

If I have requests, I usually have them noted when I book, but they don't assign rooms until a few days prior to your arrival. With that said, I don't think it matters when you add them, provided they are added at least a week or more before you arrive .

The CL desk hours are 7 am-10 pm .

Just had to share. I booked our next trip to the POLY for next June. My Mom passed away a week ago, and this trip will give my Dad something to look forward to.......seeing Mickey with his grandsons!
