Looking to stay at the Hawaii long house this fall.

I've stayed at the Poly once, Tokelau. Are these rooms similar to those in the Club Level long houses?

Have the rooms been renovated since November of 2008?

The rooms in Tokelau are slightly larger than the ones in Hawaii, larger enough for an extra chair (I want to say 3 feet in length). Also, no 2nd floor balconies in Hawaii. Otherwise, they are very similar. The rooms at the Poly were last updated in 2005-2006, so the decor is exactly the same as it was in 2008.

We're going CL this summer with DDP. Like your trip report so far. Great pictures.

If you like to eat, then you will love having DDP/CL. IMO, I don't think the food offered for CL is a replacement for meals....breakfast, yes....dinner, no. The evening offerings are great for appetizers and a drink....again....just my opinion. Many people use the CL food for meals. My family eats a lot and we enjoy TS meals very much.

You will have a great time!

The Pina Colava is raspberry daiquiri and pina colada mix. The Lava Flow isn't on the menu, but is the old school Pina Colava. It was removed from the menu when the Polynesian (and other resorts) attempted to homogenize the drinks menus. The Lava Flow is strawberry daiquiri and pina colada mix. Both are tasty!

I'm not the poster you were asking the question of, but I seem to remember that someone had stayed in Tahiti with a TPV and had posted pics of the room and view on the old Aloha thread. I think it was back in January or February. The poster took some pics of the EWP from the balcony.

Oh! And congrats on your Girls Only Trip! Sounds fun!

Hey, I'm sure the info is in this thread somewhere, but I haven't found it yet. Where can you get Dole Whips at the Poly?? I've looked at the allears.net menus, but it wasn't on any of them

Captain Cooks (quick service) that's where we got ours....they are wonderful!!!

Thank you I love these at MK, but to get it right at the resort will be heaven!
