Probably. The hardest part for me isn't the "buying", it's the "choosing".Let me guess. You only buy for your wife.
That's the same for everyone. Figuring it out it the hardest piece.Probably. The hardest part for me isn't the "buying", it's the "choosing".
Mine are adults but they still expect to see Santa's gifts magically show up in the morning. I floated an idea a couple years back that Santa don't want to add to wrapping paper recycling so he doesn't want to wrap anymore. That was met with a side-eyed "no".It's nice having older kids and we don't have to worry about putting the gifts out after they go to bed Christmas Eve.

I don’t buy for anyone. We have peace treaties with family to not exchange gifts. Saves everyone so much time.Let me guess. You only buy for your wife.

My father and I used to go out to lunch and Christmas Shopping every Christmas Eve, just the two of us.I did used to work with someone who only shopped on Christmas Eve. And that was in the days before online ordering. Their theory was that way they couldn’t waste a lot of time pondering what to purchase. I always wondered how it worked out for the recipients though.
It has been great!I guess that works for some. I do buy for my kids.
Your kids don't mind not getting gifts on their birthdays or Christmas? It has been great!
If I see something on a random Tuesday in March that I want to give my wife, I buy it.
No need to wait for some special day(birthday, anniversary, valentines day, christmas, etc) that society has deemed worthy of gift giving.
They get everything they need when they need it throughout the year and get most of what they want when they most want it rather than waiting for some special day. No one gets everything they want.Your kids don't mind not getting gifts on their birthdays or Christmas?
