Almost time for Vacation! Yikes!

We leave for WDW in 4 days and am I excited??? Kind of...I'm having a hard time getting mine and DS's medications squared away and it's so frustrating.

I tried to have a prescription of mine filled today b/c I'm running out while on the trip. Can't do it. It's too early and insurance won't cover the cost until the 19th, when I'm on vacation. I only pay $10 for a prescription with insurance and this particular prescrip is $179 so it is well worth it to have my insurance kick in. Called my insurance rep and after somewhat of a rigamarole, he got it cleared for me. I should be able to go pick it up tomorrow. We'll see. I have a feeling something will go wrong.

Tried to get DS's prescrip filled. He takes meds for ADHD. They have to either mail a prescrip to me every month or I have to go to the clinic to pick it up b/c of federal regs. I usually have it mailed-it's easier and I've never had a problem. Of course this time, right before vaca. I'm having a problem! It's been 5 days and I still haven't received it. He runs out tomorrow. It takes 48 hours for them to write a prescrip so I'm on pins and needles hoping it gets here tomorrow or I have to go to the clinic and try and pry another one from them tomorrow. I keep hearing from DH, "I got all my i's doted and t's crossed." I tried!!

To top it off, I have major PMS and I've got a sore throat and a headache. Probably coming down with something.

I'm a ball of joy to be around right now. Hopefully this trip will go well.... Thanks for letting me vent! I needed that.

I had the same situation before we left for our two week WDW vacation in August. My thyroid meds were running out before we returned. The druggist "loaned" me enough to get through. When I returned and was able to get it filled he just deducted that from the total.
