We are staying at POP in September. It is almost time to start making ADRs.
Doing the DDP... Hoping it will be free... But doing it anyways...
I have been changing the list everyday... Going crazy:confused3

We have a DS who will be 3 1/2 and a DD who will be 2 1/2 when we go.
So far we are doing:
Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, Playhouse Disney D&V for lunch, LTT Character Dinner... 3 more to use... Having Breakfast in the room... So looking for lunches and/or dinners.

Do you think the Hoop Dee Doo is a good idea with the little one's and worth using two meals or should we do two more dinners instead???
What about a Fantasmic Dinner Package? D&V or MM
What is your favorite Character Dining Place ???
What is your favorite place to eat???

Any suggestion would be great... THANKS...

When we went with our 2 grandkids, ages 7 and 5...our MOST favorite was 'Ohana at the Polynesian resort. The kids had a blast playing all the games ahead of time...the coconut races, musical instrument parade and the limbo...as well as the hula lessons. Plus we loved the food especially teh dessert...yum! Good luck deciding..I'm doing that today, making ADR's next Sunday.

Is this an annual trip for you or a very special trip? If you'll be back in the next couple years, I'd hold off on HDDR. I think your kids are just a tad too young to use up the 2 TS credits for it, personally. My oldest enjoyed it at 4.5 but my midkid is 4.5 now and I don't think he's ready to sit through it yet. OTOH, it is great fun!

My boys love Garden Grill at Epcot. The characters are very attentive. The restaurant spins very slowly around the Land ride so the sounds of it drift up to you The food is pretty good and the best thing for this momma is that it's family style so I am not constantly jumping up and down running to the buffet.

I also second 'Ohana. They always request that one. It's a fun atmosphere for kids. Food and service are hit and miss, though like GG it's got that family style advantage.

They also love Biergarten. The oompah band and the dance floor are big hits. Food is carbcentric so hard to screw up. :-)

Have you thought of Cape May Cafe for dinner? I don't know if I'm doing Fantasmic package myself. (I don't know it's necessary--we were fine without it last year at a low crowd level time) I think I'd like to try SciFi, 50s Prime Time or a late lunch on the boardwalk and return for fantasmic.
