Thanks a lot. I really hope this is the most magical trip we have taken. It will be not only my first time but also my husbands and both my kids. I can not wait to see there faces. Only 4 days and we will be there.

I know you'll have a great time! Our first time was in 1995 when my youngest turned 5 ( our boys were 9 and 12 at the time). I had never been but my husband had been as a teen with his family. I was so excited and also seeing it from my young kids eyes made it all that much better. We were there 4 days and I decided (as I did most of the planning) that when the kids got tired we would go back to our room and rest or go to the pool. I didn't want to try to do it all and wind up with cranky kids - I wanted this trip to be fun and memorable for everyone. And it was. We've since been to DisneyLand once and WDW three more times (2007 for our family vacation and my oldest son's honeymoon! Enjoy your trip... I'll be thinking of you.

We're packed! That was not fun, but it's done! I have 3 checked bags as well as 3-4 carryons ready to go. I tried to split all of our clothes amongst the 3 checked bags, in case 1 goes missing. I also have my bag for going to the park packed and ready to go. All we have to do is wake up and go on Tuesday! Disney World, here we come!

I finished packing my van up, and we'll be heading out in the morning. We should arrive in Orlando on Tuesday around mid day. Wednesday will be our first full day in the parks. I can't wait!

Thanks. I was a bit worried about the old van making it. We did have some minor issues, but nothing that stopped us, we made it down, and back with no real problems.

We had no trouble with flights. Ds's girlfriend got out on Tuesday night and we had no trouble on Thursday night. Yes it was rainy for the last couple of days but we made it through with a story to tell.

We were in the 50's room 2458. We changed out flight ourselves on SUnday and the original flight did get cancelled after all...I didn't want to be stuck with 2 young kids at the airport. The park was really empty on Tuesday and more crowded on Wednesday..thank goodness for ponchos!
