......I almost wish we had more time to anticipate. It seems silly, but I kind of wish we could go backwards in our counter. I remember when we cracked 100 days and it was so exciting. Then we blinked and hit 30. Now we're doing the single digit dance and I'm a wee bit sad because I know in a blink we'll be there and then in another blink it will be all over. We'll be saying things like, "Remember what we were doing last week at this time?" Aaargh! Does anyone else feel this way? It seems positively nuts!

Yes! I know exactly how you feel. It takes forever for your trip to arrive and then it's over in a blink of an eye.

However, we are AP holders so when I start to feel sad that our trip is over...I just think about and plan for our next trip as soon as we get home :Pinkbounc We have been making it down 3 times in a year. We haven't been since last summer though so you can imagine our excitement :D I can now say "We leave NEXT month" Let the count down begin! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Have a great trip and try not to think about it being over! You haven't even gotten there yet!!! :D

I know exactly how you feel!! Just last week, I was saying to DH, "Remember this time last year we were at Animal Kingdom Lodge and having a blast"!! LOL

It is fun to count down the time it takes to get there and once you get back, you can start planning all over again!! :)

Have a wonderful time at the world! :)

I totally can relate we leave for WDW in 4 days and I am sort of sad because I know the trip will fly by and then I will once again have to face reality. LOL

I can relate! We will be leaving soon too! We made our reservation at the 11-month window and it seemed like it would never get here! Now it's almost here and I don't want it to end! Annmarie

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking like that! I'm five days from leaving and I'm already working on the plans for the January trip :Pinkbounc

I have ALWAYS been like this ... my friends and family make fun of me all the time ... I actually get DEPRESSED when my vacation starts (don't worry, it doesn't last for very long, or ruin my vacation in the end) --- but it's because I know that as soon as it starts ... it's going to be over too soon ...:(

I am soooo happy there is only 4 days until our trip. I do not want time to go back at all! Right after we booked our last trip was 9/11 & right after we booked this trip the war in Iraq started.

I have spent the day making lists of what not to forget, and then I get sad because the time is near, then I get scared, what have I forgotten, it will be a long week getting ready to leave and then once we leave it will go quickly.....

We will be there in two weeks. But I already have the FTP July trip paid for and another for the Marathon in January. My goodness, I don't have anything after that, though. I had better get started.

I'm right with you guys.
On my way to work last week,
I was thinking about how many days till we get there and then I started thinking about how many days until I am back at work.

But isn't it fun to plan?

I do the same thing....I think of where I plan to be on a certain day of the week while I am driving to work...

Look how fast last week passed...lol..

I would love to make the time go slower, but it doesn't....just try to absorb as much as you can..even when your feet hurt..

Like my DS says....."we can sleep when we are dead".....lol

I usually hear that comment on E-night..:bounce:

It's good to know that I am not the only mental patient out there. When school starts in september (i'm a teacher) I use my summer trip to get me through...planning, scheduling...looking for codes...deciding how to use points. I am sick...but i don't want to be cured!

I am already alining all my anxieties and aggravations that I will have to deal with when I return. That depresses me because it reminds me that I have to return home:confused:

I'll let you know in about 190 days :p ... actually, we never really got that feeling because we know we would be going back next year so the planning would begin when we got home but this trip will probably be our last for a few years :o

I know exactly what you mean. We fly home from WDW the night before school starts. While I can't wait to go, I hate to wish my summer away, and have to come right back to that early morning routine all over again! I'm a college student and SAHM, and this is the last summer I get to do that. :(
