Almost Back She Is

Hi everyone. I am back from the world. I went with my niece (14), my great niece (10) and stayed at the Boardwalk. My niece (Mom of Great Niece) & her DH and their two youngest (twins) stayed at Sarasota Springs. We met up everynight for Dinner and a few mornings for Breakfast. It rained most every day but we were fortunate to be inside every time it rained, except for one day, when it rained most of the day. We had a great time. I made shirts for everyone & finished ironing them the night before I left. One of these days I will get organized. I had Shirts from a number of DISigners. I will post pictures of the girls once DH uploads them to Flickr. I "borrowed" DISigns and personalized them. I made 250 Thanks A Mint & only gave 1/2 away. Made 100 autograph cards for the 2 older girls and we never got one autograph. We did however make an autograph book for the Character Meals and we did get autographs for them. That was a smart idea & I would do that again. I wouldn't carry the autograph books down again unless I was taking young ones. All in all it was a nice time, but I am looking foward to going down with DH in August. When you aren't a Mom you don't realize how much worrying you do when you are watching kidlets.
I am going to catch up on DISigns this weekend and then I am going to start making my shirt DISigns for August. DH has agreed to wear one of Natalie's drinking around the world shirts if I agree to have the bartenders (females of course) sign his shirt in every country he drinks in. Of course I said yes because he is so shy, he won't even ask. Penny

Welcome back!! Hope you had a great trip with the family! We had a wonderful trip in June and loved all the Star Wars cards you made. We saw lots of SW characters. Sorry to hear you didn't get the character autographs on your trip. We certainly put your cards to good use. Glad to have you back safely!!

I am glad people enjoy the cards. As I don't have kidlets, I never get autographs. LOL I did get them at the meals, but I will probably use for the albums or scrapbooking. DH put my pictures on Flickr, I need to figure out how to get there and move some to PhotoBucket so I can post here. Penny
