Now nearly a year later, how does everyone feel about the MYW Tickets?

I find that I like them alot. I love the ability to pay for the options we will want/use. In the past, we park hopped because either we could (not because we had to) or because economics dictated a shorter stay and visiting more than one park a day to see more.

Now, we have been able to extend our stay, tale our time at the parks and not feel rushed because we wont see something.

Plus economically, its worked out great. I just purchased 8 day MYW Tickets with the "Plusses", no hoping, expiry from Ticket Mania for a great price, about what I paid for 4 day Park Hoppers last year.

How do you feel?

I really like the My Way tickets. I never liked the UPH because I don't do the waterparks and I rarely go to the parks the first or last day of a trip.

I like being able to "customize" my own ticket and the ability to add on to it if I want. I really like having options even after I buy the ticket, so I don't have decide right away whether I want 5 or 6 days or whether I want hopping or not, ect....

I give My Way tickets a thumbs up!

Like the MYW tickets, they give so much flexibility and having tickets with hopper facility that do not expire is ideal for us.

I wish they would add the option of having unlimited access to the water parks, DQ, and PI.

My son and I love DQ. We've gone at least 3 times during each of our last two trips. The water parks are a must do for us.

I'm willing to pay more for unlimited access to the minor parks.

Other than that I love the MYW passes.

Maybe a dumb question, but I'm curious.....

Do you think the MYW tickets have effected water park attendance at all?

I know a few people that used to go to the waterparks simply because they felt like it was a waste if they didn't. I never did that, cuz waterparks aren't my cup of tea, although I did feel like I was "wasting" part of my UPH, nothing against the waterparks or anything, but I wonder if since you can opt out of them now if that has effected their attendance?

I don't think so since Disney has included the waterparks in the EMH.

Personally, I dont think that our family would go to the waterpark if it wasnt included in our ticket. We used to go because it was park of the UPH so we figured why not.

EDIT:
We havent been in awhile so we havent been exposed to the new ticket media.
