A SHOW-OFF tried to impress his pals by kissing a rattlesnake... and almost died.
Matt George, 21, of Yacolt, Washington State, was showing friends the snake he had caught on a trip to Arizona when he bent to kiss it. But it bit him on his moustache.
The snake dropped to the kitchen floor and a friend killed it with his boot.
Paramedics treated Matt, who was flown by helicopter to hospital. Although critically ill at first, his condition improved.
