We went to universal when the kids were 6 and 8 . At that time we spent only a day there, did both parks, stayed offsite. The kids did not do many rides then. Well now is another story, they r 16 and 18 . We r staying at royal pacific and they go on everything. i need a lot of help. We r early risers so getting out early is not a problem. Where should we head to first? We have a 4 day park to park pass. What shouldn't we miss?
Thank you so much for any help

Since your are staying onsite and will have the unlimited express pass there is not need to panic and lots of planning isn't that necessary. The only big ride that doesn't have express pass is Harry Potter. That isn't a problem either since Islands opens at 7:00 for resort guests - Universal opens at 8:00 for resort guests also. You will have more than enough time to do all the rides several times. The big ones to hit at each park are: Islands - Hulk, Dr. Doom, Spiderman, Bluto's bildge rats, Dudley DoRight, Jarassic Park, Harry Potter, Dragons Challenge - there are other things to see that you will also have plenty of time for. Universal - Rip, Ride, Rocket, Mummy, Men in Black, Transformers. There is also Despicable Me, ET, Disaster, Shrek, and a few other shows. You will have a great time. We are getting excited to be going back in 4 weeks for our annual Universal/Disney trip.

Yep. PP nailed it. Rope drop Harry Potter, then go on anything else you want in any order. 4 days is plenty.

We were there last August and the Express Pass worked like a charm. I had all this planning done with a tourplan and never needed it. Let the teens choose and just follow along and you will have fun.

Thank you both so much-
We are looking forward to this trip. I am not a big ride person but will follow the kids and hold all of the bags while they are on the rides, lol.
Any quick service lunch restaurants not to be missed?
Thanks again

You guys will have a blast, I just went for 4 days in June with two 14yr old boys! We stayed at Portifino Bay. I was worried I needed a touring plan before going but the PP is right, with the express pass you are spoiled!

As for places to eat, we went to NBA city for lunch one day when we were walking back to Portifino for an afternoon swim and the boys thought it was neat in there and the food was pretty good.
Another day we ate at Three Broomsticks and split the Great Feast I think it's called? We ate at Krusty Burger our last day and that was pretty good too. They were all probably better atmosphere than quality of food though.
we went to Bubba Gump for dinner one night, that was probably my favorite and Sal's at our resort which was really good too.

I wanted to try to get over to where you'll be staying though to try that Tchoup Chop (I read good things about it on here) but we didn't have time.

I also got a driver service recommended from here to take us to and from the airport and he stopped at a Publix for us for a half hour where we bought a styrofoam cooler and ice and a few perishables and some snacks for the boys, which worked out great.

Have a great trip!
