This is Spring Break trip for 8yo dd and myself during free dining (I upgraded her to adult)

Day 1: Arrival day - plane lands at 4:45, check into POFQ. I would like to try get Ohana around 8pm. If I can't get Ohana, we could take boat to DTD.. what are my TS options in DTD? Or I could do CS (Earl of Sandwich or WP Express) but then I have another TS to fit in somewhere...

Day 2: DHS day... Mama Melrose Fantasmic Plan (probably do meal for lunch). I know dd would like SciFi so I'm thinking of getting ADR around 5 or so for a light meal/snack OOP

Day3: Mk Day - Lunch: CS Dinner: Crystal Palace

Day4: Blizzard Beach (if warm enough) or Epcot or AK Lunch: CS (we will have a break between parks) Dinner: Liberty Tree Tavern in MK (never been here before)

Day 5: BB/Epcot/ or AK in the morning, rest break, Dinner: La Hacienda (new for us) in Epcot and see Illumnations

Another question: Does Fantasmic have to be booked exactly at 180 days? Or does the 180+10 rule apply?

Suggestions? Comments?

With the early evening arrival on day 1, why fight it:confused:scope out the resort, settle in, and eat there. DTD is close by....scoot on over for shopping and have a made-to-order pretzel stick or rice krispie treat OR indulge in an ice cream sensation OR get a late ADR at one of the places on your dining plan Day 2 sounds good. one ADR at Mama's and a second at SciFi. Both excellent choices Day 3 sounds good. maybe CS at Pecos Bills Day 4: why not plan to spend the day at AK then arrange meals accordingly. Unless a water park is something you absolutely cannot do where you live, the parks offer so much more! if AK, then Tusker House with an evening at Rainforest Cafe. I'm not an expert on free dining, so make sure you are maximizing the plan. Day 5: Sleep in and relax around the resort, then keep your EPCOT plans for the remainder of the day. Illuminations is a great way to end your staypixiedust:pixiedust:

With a 4:45 landing, expect to arrive into your room around 6:30ish (I normally give 1.5-2hrs). Depending on how your travel day actually is, it may make a difference. I wouldn't put any "must-dos" or CC held reservations here. If you're not getting up super early, try a later 'Ohana here (8pm or so).

If that's not going to work, check out Boatwrights at POR or any of the DTD restaurants. If you're on the DDP, your selection is a little more limited in DTD, but there have been many good things about both Ralgan Road and Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

Sounds like a plan. I'd keep Sci-Fi tentative based on your F! package time.

Day3: Mk Day - Lunch: CS Dinner: Crystal Palace
Sounds like a plan. Note that CP tends to run a little behind, so plan 30-45 minutes earlier than you think you'd like to eat, and that should get you in closer to when you're hungry ;).
Day4: Blizzard Beach (if warm enough) or Epcot or AK Lunch: CS (we will have a break between parks) Dinner: Liberty Tree Tavern in MK (never been here before)
Sounds good. I'm not a fan of LTT dinner offerings, but that's based on the menu and not on the food. It's just not my style.
Day 5: BB/Epcot/ or AK in the morning, rest break, Dinner: La Hacienda (new for us) in Epcot and see Illumnations
Hacienda is quite good. Note that Illuminations views are limited here, so unless you get a table near the window, it's going to be tough. Time accordingly.

As far as the F! at 180+10, I believe so. In fact, I'm 99% sure, but I'm not 100% as I've never booked one.

We do not have any water parks where we live so if it is warm enough we will definitely be going to BB either Sat or Sunday. We went to Aquatica last year and dd loved it!

I guess I should have mentioned that we will be flying in from Mtn time zone.. so we probably won't be hungry for dinner until around 8pm anyway the first night. I would like to do the boat ride to DTD at least once on our trip.. so we might opt for that the first night ...just not sure I like the TS options there. If I had a car - I would drive to Boma the first night - I've always wanted to try that restaurant!

THanks for the input!
