Has anyone stayed at any of these properties? What did you think?

Allstar is a reputable local property management company that rents homes in a number of local area resorts, including Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Emerald Island, Formosa Gardens, etc. They have a great reputation and so do the resorts they rent homes in!

The specifics would really depend or vary slightly on which resort you're looking at of course, but they're all very close to WDW and great places to stay.

No first hand experience myself, but I've read some really great things about them on Deb's AllEarsNet website... http://www.allearsnet.com/reviewpost/showproduct.php?product=246&sort=8&cat=30&page=1

Some of their properties are GORGEOUS!

BTW, I just read your trip reports and enjoyed them very much!:thumbsup2

Thanks Michelle, hopefully I'll be doing another much more detailed TR for our upcoming February trip.

I read Debs site too, just thought I'd see if any Dissers had any experience with these vacation homes.

Thanks!

We booked our home through them for our July trip...I will be sure to post about our experience. We are staying at Windsor Hills. I booked though All Star before I read the Dis and learned about renting directly from the owner...I know I could have saved some money, but who am I to complain when I am going to WDW and staying at the much raved about WH!

Tanmadpey,

Are you guys staying in a condo or townhome? We have a condo booked for the first week in February and if the pictures and description are correct, then it looks so nice and roomy.

My experience is that All-Star's prices are a good notch above what you'd get from the owner directly, as they seem to take a cut for making the booking. On the other hand, it's one-stop shopping, you get to see the exact home you are renting, pool heat is included, and the policies are relatively liberal compared to direct-from-owner rentals.

Very reputable, and a good alternative to the endless search/email/negotiate process that VRBO entails.

we always rent a home in Highland Reserve thru villas2go4. Extremely pleased each time.

We are staying in a townhome. Although I know I probably paid more...they have handled everything great so far. I also booked our rental car through them when I made the reservation and got a great price...lower than I have found anywhere else. I agree...the pictures look great...we are excited. The kids loved that there was a Mickey themed bedroom and a splash pool.
