What a wierd combo eh! The "girls" wanted to stay on their own (they are 18 and 19) so they booked the All Star Music? Any reviews? Room suggestions? How are the buses etc?

DH DS(16) and I are staying YC concierge? What's the "concierge" all about? Lounge, offerrings,-do they call ahead to make PS's etc? What rooms should I request?

Hi!

I posted alot of links on my "Bitten" by the Concierge "Bug" thread for you for YC Concierge.

Wish I could help you on the ALLStars, but never have stayed there, but I know your girls will be fine, with a cell phone, and the bus network.
They could even grab a cab, if they have to meet you all for last minute event if the buses are running slow!

Hope this helps!

Great thread!

Anyone else have any input?

The All Stars are great especially for younger folks. The "kids" here are college age adn they will have a blast. There are quite a few families here and teen groups. The pool is okay and busy. The noise level is high as the the resort is active and vibrant. It has icons of music that are larger than life and it is coloful. They will enjoy. The busses at AS Music have always run very well when we have stayed here. Rooms to the back of the resort like country fair are very quiet but far fromthe food court. Even so the walk is not bad. The Jazz building is a good middle ground the pool and the food court as well as being closer to the bus stops.

While we generally stay at the deluxe resorts, we had the opportunity to try out AS music and really liked it! We had a room in the 1st Calypso building! I can't say enough about this location. They do charge a prefered rate for this section! It is closest to EVERYTHING! The pool, the food court, the buses etc.

Can anyone direct me to a resort/room plan map for ASMu?
Thanks for the feedback.

We've stayed at ASMu twice, once in the Broadway Hotel #7, and once in the Rock Inn #3. The resort is pretty nice, it's not a deluxe, but it isn't like the motels you'd find offsite. For the price, the place really can't be beat. :)

As for the YC, we've never stayed there, but it is on my list to stay at. We have stayed at the Beach Club, and did enjoy it. :)

My DD (19) loves all-star music!! We've stayed at quite of few of the on-site resorts and she always wants to go back there. We've stayed in the Jazz section (very close to the food court without paying for preferred room) and broadway section (very quiet). We liked Jazz best. :D
