Allowing other members to see my email address?

Hi all,

Do you use the option to allow others the option to email you from here? If so, have you found that to be an ok (safe) idea (like you didn't get constantly spammed or nasty emails)?

I am not even sure I did it right, LOL. I am so technically challenged.

ETA...will someone email me to see if it worked? Now I am gonna get bombarded with emails (or not), LOL...

I have never had a bad experience using that option. I prefer to get emails over PM's anyway, because I am not always logged on to the DIS during the day when I am working.

Exactly, that is why I looked into that option. I have had a few people say, 'you never check your pms'...but I always have access to my email.

I've never allowed that option, but I have pmed my E-mail address to other members, especially while involved in a game type thing here. Quick communication can be quite good.
