allowed to book full days FP+ only on Christmas party tix?

I found this strange. I have not purchased normal admission yet for my Christmas trip, only party tickets, but it let me book a full days worth of fast passes. Is that normal?

Yes. Your valid ticket for the Party opens up FP booking for that complete day.

Yes, the system still sees it just as a ticket (most of the time). However, you cannot get into the park until 4:00, so I hope you didn't make any FP+ for earlier in the day.
