Allowed in carry on? SWA

Can you bring a sealed energy drink on a plane or would I need to wait and buy them upon landing? What is and is not allowed in carry ons and is there anything not allowed in checked bags? Lastly and probably the dumbest , plugs are the same in the states right? like my curling iron, phone charger etc will work?

The answer to this is, it depends. If you purchase the drink after going through security at the airport, then you can take it with you on the plane. If you purchase the drink before you go through security, it must meet the volume guideline of 100 ml. for liquids and fit inside your one litre (quart) plastic bag with all your other permitted liquids. Check the website www.catsa.gc.ca for baggage guidelines.

US plugs are the same as ours.

You will not be allowed thru security with a sealed energy drink you can purchase(depending where you are flying out of) them after you get thru security and there should be a store with drinks available. The rules are very strict about what you can and can not bring in your carry on luggage if you go to the SWA website it is all explained there,and yes the plugs are the same in the USA as the are in Canada so your curling iron (not allowed in your carry on by the way). and yes the plugs are the same in the USA as the are in Canada so your curling iron (not allowed in your carry on by the way). Hope this helps
