I was given a 1/4 plot of an allotment last april, by august it was increased to 1/2 of an allotment and I thought I would be happy with that. I decided that I wanted more land and today went to the yearly allotment meating and when I went to pay for my 1/2 plot asked for more land. I got it!!!!!!!!! another half plot right next to the one I already have, cost for the pair of them £12 for the year.

Fantastic Paula :thumbsup2 What have you been growing in there recently? It'll be great for you to have all the new space! :thumbsup2

I have squashes, tomatoes, peppers and sweetcorn going in the house. In my original half plot I have mange tout and peas, 2 each of red, black and white current bushes 2 gooseberry bushes and 25 raspberry canes. I will be planting carrots, courgettes marrows, cauliflower, cabbage all sorts.

Would be great to see a photograph of before and at full harvest :goodvibes

Paula it must be so addictive once you start seeing/eating the things you have planted! my dh has got into this and is slowly transforming our back garden into an allotment, although i have put my foot down as i still want a garden!!
Happy planting!

It really is I thought 1/4 plot look at how much I can grow, then I thought but look what I could grow with 1/2 a plot. Then my mother said don't keep chickens, because her dad kept them which of course got me thinking of them so now I have a full plot in two halfs and I will be getting one of these

Sounds great Paula! :thumbsup2 I love the idea of a chicken coop too, that'll complete your plot nicely! It sure does sound like fun once you've decided what you'll grow in there and it's a lovely pass-time too!!

Sounds very rewarding. :goodvibes I wanted to get one a few years ago but DH refused to help!
