Well I had my test earlier and it came back with some very interesting results. Turns out i basically reacting very much so towards anything dairy appart from eggs. I reacted to cows milk, cheese, ice-cream, butter, CHOCOLATE...then i also i reacted to swede/ turnip/peas...which is no great loss:rotfl:

So now ive just got to go about trying to cut them out for awhile! AS IF i haven't got enough to think about at the moment!

Oh no! thats alot of reactions and to CHOCOLATE
Good luck on cutting them out of your diet, and its good that you know what triggers you off etc.:goodvibes

I know...CHOCOLATE...WHY COULDN'T IT BE A BORING VEGETABLE!!!

I think someone is looking down on me hating me the moment!!!

:scared1: allergic to chocolate :scared1:
where did you have your allergy test done?
I had mine done at hospital a few months ago and it came back negative.. apparently i'm not allergic to anything, but i still have reactions to eating certain dairy products and have reactions to grass dust etc.
maybe the hospital test is a basic one

I had it done at a local chemist...they stuck a metal thing on my finger and which was attached to a machine to test my 'energy' then they put the different items on the machine and your energy reacts to them...some more so than others.

I know Holland and Barrett also tests though as this guy works for them to part-time. Was very good and he gave me some booklets. I'm also reacting to an E number they put in coke....WHAT AM I MEANT TO PUT MY MALIBU INTO IF I CAN'T DRINK COKE???

This one did yes....but there free on the NHS but round here there is a long waiting list and the test is basic.

I paid £52 but had the full works do with E numbers!!!

My eldest DD has had skin prick tests, the last one being 2yrs ago which confirmed for us her Nut allergy!, she already had an egg & kiwi allergy, but thankfully at almost 10 she has now grown out of the egg allergy :goodvibes

I know...i probably went pale when he announced that. I'm about to go and get a dairy free mcdonalds and cheer myself up!:rotfl:

I ended up with a Wispa Mcflurry...figured i can't stop this dairy free lark till i've gone and brought soya milk and dairy free everything else!!!

Has anyone got any experience of this? Despite or the fun and laughing the diet man made out it was quite a thing to take on and ow i've sat down to read the booklet and im abit shocked!!
