Ok we have never been to WDW in May and my allergies are working doubletime currently at home does anyone have any experiance with them this time of year at WDW. Nothing I have been taking has helped thus far not Alegra or Arieus etc and I need something that will not make me fall asleep and the 2 mentioned earlier are the only 2 so far that fit the bill. Claratin and Chlor Triplon and Benadryl etc all put me to sleep even the so called non drowsy formula.

Usually allergies to growing things tend to be location specific. I used to worry about all the blooming things in Hawaii, but I have never had as much trouble there as at home. The doctor says it is because it is all different types of vegetation. If you don't live in a Florida type climate, I would think it might not be so bad for you.

Just returned from WDW Tuesday. Had no allergy problems there, but they have returned with my return home to Cape Cod.

Thanks for the info my allergies are terrible this year as I am allergic to trees and grass and way to many other plants and weeds etc to name LOL.

I have pretty bad allergiees, and didn't notice a problem there. However - you may want to try Flonase nasal spray while you're there. It didn't work to well for me - but some people swear by it, and there are no real side effects that I noticed.

my allergies use to be better at WDW - but for the last couple of years they are about the same.

I take Rhinocort Aqua and Astelin - twice a day.

most of my allergies go through my nose - so nose sprays work best for me.

I don't take any pills.

Unless I have an allergy reaction - breaking out in a rash, not being able to breath, my hands swelting up, etc

of course I live in Ala - not Canada - you will probably be fine - however I would take some medications -you don't want to go to WDW and find you can't enjoy it because your left your medications at home.

If you are going now - remember the garden/flower festavial will put alot more pollen in the air than normal.

Main reason for asking is because my wife wants to spend 2 days at Epcot for the F&G which will about kill me. I have used flonase and it burned really really badly when I used it I have also tried Becanase with no success.

rhinocort aqua - is prescription only.

so it is pretty good. It is a once a day nose spray. (I need it twice - so I get a double prescription).

call your doctor and see if he will give you ar prescription for it. problem is like all medications you need to be on a couple of weeks before it really starts to work for you.

I've taken Alevert for the last two seasons with pretty good success. It doesn't make me drowsy at all.

Zach

I have the same allergies as you and having a real rough spring. The only nose spray that works for me is to mix Astelin and Nasorel. Mixing the two together will do more for me then Allegra. Flonase and Rhinocort are like sugar water for me.

Thanks for all the ideas I guess I will have to pick something up tomorrow as we leave in 9 days.
