So we leave in 2 days and I knwo I've seen this info listed before but I cant seem to find it so I was hoping someone could answer.

Which places have the allergy chicken tenders? From what I can remember its:
MK: columbia harbor house
DHS: ???
EPCOT: electric umbrella and american pavillion

Where are they in DHS? Also, do they have them at POP?

Also, do any of the QS have gluten free pasta? I thought I had read somewhere that sunshine seasons had tikanyada pasta which would be wonderful b/c we will be in EPCOT for 2 meals with no TS reservation.

Also, is all of the GF bread still Udis? I am allergic to eggs so Udis is not safe so I was hoping maybe they had Ener-g bread but I'm guessing probably not?

At DHS we've gotten the allergy tenders at ABC Commissary but I've also read that they're available at Backlot Express I think. Yes, they have them at Pop. I think AoA is the only resort that doesn't have the allergy tenders.

At Epcot, you should really check out Sunshine Seasons. You'll work with an actual chef and you'll have a nice variety of options. I've also read that they can cook Tinkyada pasta there but I've never asked as we've always been happy with the stuff they already have available for the sides (rice and salad). Also, they now have a steak in the American pavillion and it's a nice change from regular CS food. It's not a great steak by any means but it wasn't bad. They had to serve it to us plain (it normally has some kind of butter) and the broccoli and potatoes were plain but it wasn't bad if you can handle medium.

The only CS places we've ever actually ordered pasta is at a resort. I've never actually tried in a park. I don't think I'd want to wait that long in a park since I'm assuming they don't have it pre-cooked. If I recall, the few places that used to be listed on the allergy guides that Special Diets used to send always said that you had to pre-order it as it took a long time and I just wasn't interested in dealing with that.

I've read a few reports of GNI bread at select locatios but I don't know which those our. We haven't been since August and back then it was all Udi's except for a lone Ener-G roll at AoA (which wasn't good since there's an ingredient in that which my kids can't eat; sigh).

Thanks! I was hoping you'd come along to answer this. I figured you would probably know.

We really only plan on eating meals at QS in EPCOT because we have TS meals planned for every other lunch and dinner. So I figured we'd do sunshine seasons at least one of those times. I'm thinking that the chicken tenders might be a good snack to share though sometime during the day so it's good to know where they are.

For the resort, do you ask to speak with the chef when you first get there? We are not arriving at POP until 10pm tomorrow night so would it even be possible to do that or would we have to wait until the morning? Do we have to speak with the chef every time we go to the food court?

I'm just not sure if it works differently at the resorts or not. For some reason, we never did really consult about my allergies at pop last time. I could eat eggs in baked goods last time and I kind of had an idea of what to avoid and we didn't eat there much.

Yes you want to speak with a chef every single time you at at the resort. What we do when we first walk in is walk up to the station with the least number of guests and ask to speak to a chef about allergies. It doesn't matter if we'll be ordering from that station or not because we need to wait for a chef anyway.

If you won't be ordering any food when you arrive then I wouldn't take the time to go into the food court to talk to a chef at that time. Just wait until you're going to eat for the first time and ask for a chef at that time. We typically arrive early (as in we usually check in around 11am) so we usually want to have lunch when we arrive meaning it makes sense to talk to a chef when we arrive as we're hungry at that time. They'll be able to help you when you arrive even if you haven't spoken with anybody yet. Pop's great with allergies. I don't know how late the food court is open at night. You certainly are free to go in and talk to a chef when you arrive if it's still open. If you're feeling up to it then I think it's certainly worthwhile if for no other reason than to make sure that they have your allergy form in the kitchen as a heads up that you'll be there (I'm assuming you sent one in considering your long and complicated list of allergies).

Don't worry about knowing what you can and can not eat ahead of time at Pop. A chef will come out and go over your options with you every single meal. They can customize something to be safe and tasty. We've never had any problems there (well, one time they forgot to preheat the waffle press in the morning so our wait was longer but that's it). They have a dedicated allergy area in the kitchen and as long as they have the ingredients then the chefs can customize something for you.
