Allergies and Pets at HRH

We are due to stay at the HRH starting 06/17. One of our party has a severe case of allergies to cats. Knowing LOEWS permits pets on the property we have a concern about this. Infomation from another forum advised us to note on our rez about this. Does anyone else have comments on this? (if you or someone in your party suffers from a similar fate)

I read a trip report on these boards. I believe the person stayed at RPR and there were no pet rooms available or something and they put her in a regular room with her pets.

So, how do you know any of the Loews hotels don't do this all the time?

Not trying to start a debate or anything but couldn't this have been a real problem if the next guest in the room had pet allergies?

I would call the hotel and ask them if you are guaranteed a room where there haven't been pets. If not, I'd stay somewhere else.
