Allegient Airlines taking over TMA in Rockford, IL--no Ohare o'hassle!

Great news for those of us who love to fly in/out of smaller regional airports to truly experience the WDW magic.
Rockford IL will have Allegient take over the TMA Orlando routes and their rep was on the news last evening with specifics: Departs Rockford Sun-Mon-Thur-Frid at 12:15pm and arrives at Sanford at 3:45pm. Departs Sanford those same days at 10am and arrives back in Illinois at 11:40am.
I really recommend this airport connection for those of you in the suburbs who want to avoid the Ohare o'hassle and the traffic to Midway. Sanford is a wonderful airport to arrive in; takes one hour to get to most of the WDW resorts and we use Happy Limo. There are other options if you get on their website. HURRAY--direct flight, no parking fees, stressfree security and boarding, luggage claim in minutes... WDW Here we come!

This looks like a very good option. I live only 20 minutes from O'Hare but hate the lines and costs of parking or cab. This may be a possibility in the future. Who is Allegient Airlines and why are they taking over for TMA? Where exactly is Samford Airport? Is is close to Vero Beach? Thanks!
