Allegiant?

Has anyone here flown on Allegiant air before? I'm not thrilled at the prospect but it's a relatively inexpensive option for us and flying. We would be flying Allentown to Sanford.

We flew Allegiant last September, we loved it! The airport at Sanford is super easy to navigate. We used Happy Limo to transport us to our resort and back to the airport. Allegiant has very low fares but do have many fees, just watch out for those (fee for online booking, seat assignment fee, luggage fees, inflight snack fees). Even with the additional fees, paying for checked bags and the car service, we still saved about $500 vs. flying Southwest.

Thx! I looked at it yesterday and SW is about $20 cheaper but it's much further away. Glad to hear someone had good experience.

How much longer did it take to get to Disney?

We flew on Allegiant from Plattsburgh, NY to Tampa and loved it. The plane was very comfortable, on time, and friendly staff.

I don't remember exactly how long the drive was from Sanford, I think it was about 45 minutes. We had a 15 minute grocery stop, after 15 minutes, they charge you $1/minute. We were very pleased with Allegiant, Sanford Airport and Happy Limo.

I flew Allegiant from Bloomington, IL to Orlando in January. I have absolutely zero complaints. We even got a car rental deal (free upgrade from compact to full size) when we booked the flight. The only reason we were able to do this trip was because we could get such inexpensive flights on Allegiant.

Our flight down was on time and our flight home took off about 40 min late but that's not a huge deal, IMO.

The Sanford airport is SUPER easy to navigate and not nearly as stressful as MCO, IMO.

We flew Allegiant from Fayetteville, AR and was a little put off at first thinking it was going to be a 2nd rate experience because I had never heard of them, welllll, was I wrong, and glad to be wrong. It was cheaper than anything around us, we don't have an airport anywhere near where we live, but it was a very good experience. One of the best flights I had ever had, planes are roomy, you don't feel like you are in a sardine can with all the other sardines. Very pleased, if you have a good an experience as I did, you will be pleased.
